It’s a very good thing that Marvel Studios will have a Muslim superhero. This will inspire Muslims and hopefully will help destigmatise being a Muslim.
The superhero is called Ms. Marvel and will have her own show on Disney’s upcoming streaming service, Disney+. She will be in Marvel films too, which is huge.
A Muslim journalist named Sheraz Farooqi wrote a great article for The Hollywood Reporter about the significance of these developments.
